Hot-dip galvanizing in Kazakhstan
Modern industry even with an abundance of synthetic materials actively uses metal structures. The only significant drawback of such products is their susceptibility to corrosion. To minimize the risk of damage to steel equipment, it should be treated in a special way. Hot-dip galvanizing in Kazakhstan is the easiest and budget way to give the structure durability.
The processing process is quite simple. First of all, the item is cleaned and degreased, removing all oils. It is especially important that there is no rust left, otherwise the zinc mixture will fall on the part unevenly and lose its usefulness. Rust and scale is removed with acid.
Then prepare for immersion in zinc. This procedure is called fluxing. During it, a special film is applied to the steel element. Its function is to further clean the surface and provide a better screed of the zinc mixture on the steel. The smoother and neater zinc envelops the item, the more reliable anti-corrosion protection.
In the special ceramic tub pour the composition of the zinc (where it should be at least 98%) and dipped back design. To apply the mixture evenly, the part is pre-placed in a rotating drum. In the bath drum can be up to 10 minutes. After the allotted time, the drum is raised, spinning, as in the dive. You should know-the slower the drum is lifted, the thinner the zinc layer on the metal. The final stage of galvanizing is the removal of excess mixture.

The thickness of the zinc layer and the quality of its adhesion to the metal are checked for compliance with the standard. GOST involves two ways to check the thickness of the coating:
- The study under a microscope metallographic group-cut a small area on the cross section. It is recommended to use several sample sections and make up to 3 measurements to calculate the average thickness;
- The thickness gauge measures the actual thickness of the zinc layer. Under close attention is the value of resistance. For the purity of the result is recommended to perform at least 5 measurements.
